Visa Macao

Macao (Chinese澳門 / 澳门, Pinyin Àomén; Portuguese: Macau) is a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China that lies about 50 kilometers west of Hong Kong. Until 1999 it was a Portuguese colony.

Citizens of the following countries receive a visa for a stay of up to 90 days when arriving at the airport or ferry terminal of Macao:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Lebanon, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Namibia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway,  the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Korea, Samoa, Sweden, Switzerland, the Seychelles, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, USA.

Requirements for entry are a passport (valid for at least another 6 months) and a return or continuation plane ticket (dated within 90 days).

Residents of other countries must contact the Identification Department of Macao SAR directly.

Conclusive and binding information concerning the entry requirements can only be provided by the Identification Department of Macao SAR.
