Product Manager

Product Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong background in automotive components, ideally in steering wheel systems. You will work on feasibility assessments, design optimization, and development of engineering documents in line with automotive standards.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with the automotive product development process; experience with steering wheel systems is a strong plus.
• Proficient in quality systems such as IATF16949, and able to prepare APQP, DFMEA and other engineering documentation.
• Conduct feasibility assessments for new projects, troubleshoot issues in product design, and propose/implement optimization solutions.
• Fluent in English and German
• Willingness to travel across Europe and occasionally to North America for customer or plant visits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; background in both mechanical and electrical design is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development in the automotive industry.

Required Skills

• Skilled in design software such as AutoCAD, ZWCAD, CATIA, SolidWork or UG.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and responsible attitude.
