Job responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) within Germany and surrounding European markets (including the UK, Italy, and others). 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients across the utility, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), EPC, developer, and energy service provider sectors.
  • Lead the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation, requirements analysis, and technical/commercial solution design to quotation, negotiation, and contract signing. 
  • Collaborate closely with technical, product, project delivery, and after-sales teams to ensure successful project implementation. 
  • Monitor market policies, subsidies, and grid connection regulations within Germany and the EU to identify sales opportunities. 
  • Manage and mentor the sales team (where applicable) to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). 
  • Provide regular reports to management regarding sales forecasts, market feedback, and competitive landscape dynamics. 



Expected qualifications & degrees and Professional experience 
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation, Business, or a related field 
  • 1+ years of sales experience in New Energy, Energy Storage, Power Equipment, or Energy Solutions 
  • Familiarity with BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) technical architecture and application scenarios (e.g., peak shaving, grid connection, C&I, self-consumption) 
  • Knowledge of the German electricity market, grid connection standards (VDE), and EPC models is preferred 
  • Excellent skills in business negotiation, project management, and cross-functional communication 
  • Fluent in German and English (C1 level or higher); proficiency in Chinese or Italian is a plus 
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and across Europe
