Assistant Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist the procurement team in daily management, organize procurement documentation, track order progress, and ensure smooth project advancement;
• Participate in supplier development and evaluation, assist in supplier audits and contract negotiations, and experience the entire process of strategic supply chain cooperation;
• Conduct market research and data analysis to provide strong support for procurement cost optimization and decision-making;
• Assist in maintaining efficient operation of the supply chain system, coordinate internal and external resources, and promote cross-departmental collaboration;
• Participate in procurement process optimization and digital transformation projects, helping the enterprise achieve an intelligent supply chain upgrade.

Talent Requirements and Competency Expectations：

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics or other related disciplines. Possesses a solid foundation in engineering principles to support the professional operation of supply chain and procurement processes.
• Language Proficiency: Good command of English and German, with the ability to communicate fluently in international teams and with overseas suppliers.
• Work Experience:

1. At least 1 year of relevant work experience, familiar with procurement or supply chain management processes.
2. Candidates with experience in shipyard equipment procurement or as agents for shipbuilding industry equipment will be given priority consideration.

• Professional Competencies:

1. Strong logical thinking and cost awareness; skilled in market research, data organization, and supplier evaluation.
2. Familiar with contract terms and business negotiation processes, with basic competence in contract review and risk identification.
3. Understands fundamental economic and financial analysis methods, capable of balancing cost and benefit in procurement and project execution.

• Comprehensive Qualities:

1. Detail-oriented, with strong teamwork and cross-departmental coordination skills.
2. Clear-minded and fast-learning, able to grow continuously in a fast-paced environment and take on greater responsibilities over time.
