Assistant Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Assist the procurement team in daily management, organize procurement documentation, track order progress, and ensure smooth project advancement;
- Participate in supplier development and evaluation, assist in supplier audits and contract negotiations, and experience the entire process of strategic supply chain cooperation;
- Conduct market research and data analysis to provide strong support for procurement cost optimization and decision-making;
- Assist in maintaining efficient operation of the supply chain system, coordinate internal and external resources, and promote cross-departmental collaboration;
- Participate in procurement process optimization and digital transformation projects, helping the enterprise achieve an intelligent supply chain upgrade.

Talent Requirements and Competency Expectations:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics or other related disciplines. Possesses a solid foundation in engineering principles to support the professional operation of supply chain and procurement processes.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of English and German, with the ability to communicate fluently in international teams and with overseas suppliers.
- Work Experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience, familiar with procurement or supply chain management processes.
- Candidates with experience in shipyard equipment procurement or as agents for shipbuilding industry equipment will be given priority consideration.
- Professional Competencies:
- Strong logical thinking and cost awareness; skilled in market research, data organization, and supplier evaluation.
- Familiar with contract terms and business negotiation processes, with basic competence in contract review and risk identification.
- Understands fundamental economic and financial analysis methods, capable of balancing cost and benefit in procurement and project execution.
- Detail-oriented, with strong teamwork and cross-departmental coordination skills.
- Clear-minded and fast-learning, able to grow continuously in a fast-paced environment and take on greater responsibilities over time.
