About the Role

We are a growing renewable energy company specializing in residential and commercial energy storage solutions, battery systems, and photovoltaic inverter products.

We are looking for an After-Sales Technical Support Engineer based in Italy to provide technical support for our customers and partners across Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience with energy storage systems (ESS), solar PV systems, inverters, or related electrical products, with strong troubleshooting skills and customer communication abilities.

Chinese language ability is highly preferred, as this role will collaborate closely with our technical team and headquarters in China.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support for residential and commercial energy storage systems, PV inverters, and related products through remote assistance and onsite service when required.
2. Support customers and installation partners with:
   • System installation guidance
   • Commissioning and troubleshooting
   • Fault diagnosis and technical problem solving
   • Equipment maintenance and repair support
3. Respond to customer technical inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
4. Prepare technical documentation, including:
   • After-sales service reports
   • Troubleshooting reports
   • Product issue analysis reports
5. Collect and analyze product quality issues, communicate feedback to the R&D and engineering teams in China, and support continuous product improvement.
6. Provide product training and technical guidance to customers, installers, and partners.
7. Support sales teams during important projects, including technical discussions, system commissioning, and project acceptance.
8. Manage spare parts, repair tools, and technical service records.
9. Support the development and improvement of standardized after-sales service processes.

RequirementsEducation & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related fields preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in technical support, after-sales service, commissioning, or maintenance of:
  • Energy storage systems (ESS)
  • Solar PV systems
  • Inverters
  • Battery systems
  • Electrical equipment
• Experience supporting customers, installers, or distributors in the renewable energy industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of energy storage systems, battery technology, and inverter fundamentals.
• Ability to independently perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault analysis.
• Experience with remote technical support and customer issue resolution.
• Ability to write technical reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of PV systems, electrical installation, or BMS/EMS concepts is a plus.

Languages

• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Chinese (Mandarin) language ability is highly preferred for communication with headquarters and technical teams in China.
• Italian language ability is a plus.
