Assistant HR Specialist
Main Responsibilities
I. Campus Recruitment Support (40%)
Assist in planning and executing annual campus recruitment strategies, information sessions, career fairs, and related activities.
Source, screen, and conduct preliminary phone interviews for fresh graduate candidates, and coordinate the interview process.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with career centers and student organizations at target domestic universities.
Track campus recruitment metrics and assist in preparing recruitment analysis reports.
II. Overseas Recruitment Support (40%)
Assist in developing and maintaining overseas recruitment channels (e.g., LinkedIn, local job boards, overseas university forums).
Handle initial communication with overseas candidates, schedule and follow up on interviews, and adapt to working across different time zones.
Translate and proofread overseas job descriptions (JDs) and related recruitment materials.
Gather local talent market insights and salary benchmarks to support recruitment decision-making.
III. Overseas HR Operations Support (20%)
Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist in preparing online onboarding procedures and document collection for new overseas hires; support offboarding processes.
Data & Records Management: Help maintain the accuracy of overseas employee information in the HRIS; manage electronic employee files.
Policy Communication: Assist in translating and disseminating HQ’s latest HR policies, notices, and event information to overseas employees.
Daily Inquiries: Serve as the first point of contact for common HR policy questions from overseas employees and escalate to the appropriate team members when necessary.
Project Support: Assist the team in coordinating overseas employee engagement surveys, training sessions, and other HR projects.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources, Business English, Management, Psychology, or related fields.
Language Skills: Exceptional overall English proficiency (fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Must be able to write professional emails, navigate English-language systems, and communicate verbally with ease.
Communication Skills: Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience collaborating effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills; able to work in a structured and rigorous manner.
Proactivity: Highly self-motivated, eager to learn, adaptable to fast-changing environments, and capable of working independently on supportive tasks.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
