Our client is a successful international logistic provider specialized in industrial clients. Customers in China are European/German companies in China (50%) AND local Chinese companies (50%). They have acquired and merged competitors and want to set up a strong nationwide sales and service network. To support their success and fast growth in China, we are looking for a China Sales Director (location Shanghai).
Sales Director China (海运，空运) – Location Shanghai
Responsibilities:
· Report to the General Manager in Shanghai, managing and leading sales managers in about 10 locations (growing) to achieve the goals given by HQ (revenue, margins/EBIT, etc)
· Manage and further develop the nationwide sales network and identify new business opportunities
· Lead and motivate the staff; establish performance goals for sales employees, setup sales controlling system
· Develop and improve business relations with key customers
· Continue analysis of the market, competition and development
· Regular report to the Headquarters in Germany
Requirements:
· At least 5 years working experience in international logistic industry, preferable in Air Cargo and/or Sea Cargo
· At least 3 years experience in managing sales teams/sales persons in multiple locations.
· Degrees in logistic or related fields, or in business administration with working experience in logistic industry
· Successful hands-on experience on direct sales of logistic solution for business clients, the target industries are preferably automobile and machinery industry
· Experience in working for Western (European/American) companies or in working/living in European/US countries
· Chinese language at mother tongue level, fluent in English spoken and written
· Self-motivated, team player, hands on, excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Professional usage of standard Microsoft Office software (e. g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing
