Xiamen Golden Egret Special Alloy Co., Ltd. (GESAC), a core subsidiary of the state-owned listed group Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. (XTC), was established in 1989. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture between the global tungsten industry leader, XTC, and Japan's Allied Material. The company possesses a complete industrial chain from tungsten powder and tungsten carbide powder to cemented carbide and cutting tools. Today, GESAC is a world-renowned supplier and exporter of tungsten and tungsten carbide powders, as well as a leading manufacturer and service provider of high-quality cemented carbide and precision cutting tools. 

With a total investment exceeding RMB 3 billion, the company boasts a comprehensive annual production capacity of: 10,000 tons of Tungsten/Tungsten Carbide Powder, 7,000 tons of Cemented Carbide products, 13 million Solid Carbide Tools, and 70 million Indexable Inserts.

GESAC is powered by a high-quality, self-driven workforce. Our technical team includes 880 engineering and technical personnel, featuring: 3 Professor-level Senior Engineers, 35 Senior Engineers and 223 Engineers, 266 Master’s and Doctoral degree holders.

We prioritize university-enterprise cooperation and have established stable collaborative relationships with 12 prestigious higher education and research institutions, including:

Central South University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Xiamen University, Fuzhou University, Wuhan University of Technology, and Dalian University of Technology.

These partnerships involve multidisciplinary research projects encompassing basic theories, processing techniques, and equipment development.

Mechanical Engineer (Open to Bachelor’s & Above)

Position Overview

We are seeking 5 talented Mechanical Engineers to join our teams across Xiamen, Chengdu, and Huizhou. As a key member of our engineering group, you will lead mechanical design innovations, optimize product performance, and drive development projects from conceptualization to mass production.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Market & Tech Scouting: Monitor emerging market technologies and analyze global industry development trends to maintain our technical edge.
  2. R&D Initiatives: Conduct preliminary research on new mechanical technologies and contribute to foundational theoretical studies.
  3. Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end development of new products, including mechanical design, prototyping, trial production, and effective project management.
  4. Operational Excellence: Participate in product process management, quality control, and the implementation of technical standards to ensure consistent manufacturing quality.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant technical field.
  • Academic Background: Mechanical Design, Manufacturing & Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or related majors.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and design tools.
    • English Proficiency: Good reading and comprehension skills for technical documentation and international industry literature.
    • A proactive mindset with a passion for mechanical innovation and complex problem-solving.
    • Ability to manage R&D projects effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
