As China is the growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for an experienced expert who shares the same passion and ethusiam for driving our China specific development for providing the best AD exerpience to our customers. Located in Beijing (Wangjing area) and Shanghai Pudong our development team is fully responsible and driving the development of the Autonomous Driving customer experience for Mercedes-Benz cars.
As functional owner in the AD Experience product team, you are End-2-End responsible for our product development, especially ensuring in-time and in-quality development of our internal and external (development) partners. You will develop the interaction with and information to our customers to ensure trust and understanding of our systems.
Tasks:
You are take care about the requirement management, priorities, product quality and schedule as well as status reporting. You will be the communication channel to internal and external development partner in China, be a major interface between the AD and telematics stakeholders as well as our development partners at other Mercedes-Benz development sites all over the world.
Responsible to ensure future competitiveness of the Mercedes-Benz Chinese AD system by creating new product ideas especially in all kind of visualization, interaction and promoting- the functions. Preparing these ideas, do POCs and present these to management and coworkers.
Collabrate closely with other function owners in and outside of the AD Experience product team to integrate developed deliverables into projects as well as provide technical feedback in discussions on future products and platforms
• Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or appropriate graduation)
• Very good knowledge in the ADAS and navigation domain, preferably internship experience in the ADAS / navigation business with an OEM or internet company being responsible for ADAS / navigation components.
• Internship as a software developer, preferably in the field of ADAS development and/or navigation system development is a plus.
• Relevant Linux/Android knowledge and experience.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, experience as scrum master or product owner is plus.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Software development quality methodologies such as design review, code reviews, continuous integration, regression testing and static code analysis.
• Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management, e.g. project plan, risk analyze, and so on.
• Self-responsibility, team player and good communication skills.
