Transport Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating with, managing, and terminating transportation suppliers (3PLs) to ensure stable transportation capacity.

• Establish and implement supplier KPI management mechanisms, including on-time delivery rates and cargo damage rates, to continuously improve service quality.

• Coordinate transportation planning and daily capacity scheduling to ensure timely vehicle deployment and execution of transportation plans.

• Oversee end-to-end in-transit monitoring, promptly address transportation anomalies, and ensure on-time delivery.

• Manage transportation expense reconciliation and settlement to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure transportation operations comply with relevant German and EU laws and regulations.

Job Requirements

• Familiarity with the German and EU transportation and third-party logistics (3PL) markets; candidates with local supplier resources are preferred.

• Experience in transportation supplier management, price negotiations, and capacity scheduling.

• Strong data analysis skills and cost-control awareness.

• Excellent cross-departmental coordination and external communication skills.

• Fluency in Chinese and German; working proficiency in English is a plus.

• Valid work authorization in Germany is preferred; visa application assistance is available for exceptional candidates.
