VEM motors GmbH is a leading German manufacturer of electric motors and drive solutions and an important company within the VEM Group, headquartered in Wernigerode, Germany.

The company has a long tradition in electric motor manufacturing and specializes in the development and production of low-voltage motors, standard motors and special motors. The Wernigerode site produces motors ranging from 7.5 to 1,000 kW, while the Zwickau site specializes in smaller motors and special drives from 0.06 to 9 kW.

VEM motors' products are used in a wide range of industries, including industrial manufacturing, chemicals, metallurgy, material handling and transportation.

Technical Support Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Act as the key technical contact, providing solutions using configuration tools
• Prepare technical comments and deviations according to customer specifications
• Deliver product training and technical presentations to enhance customer satisfaction

Technical Coordination

• Support sales in customer communication and technical clarifications
• Serve as the liaison between sales and factory to ensure smooth project implementation
• Support risk review assessments in collaboration with finance and internal stakeholders

Product & Solution Development

• Drive technical solution improvements to enhance product quality
• Identify and close gaps between factory manufacturing capabilities and market requirements
• Develop customized product solutions based on industry applications and customer needs

Your Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electric motor design is preferred
• Experience in technical support is a plus

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent German, English and Chinese skills
• Structured and solution-oriented thinking
• Focused and objective approach in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
