  • Development and optimization of PLC programs for our production lines
  • Carrying out functional tests and error analyses as well as troubleshooting, also in cooperation with colleagues from the mechanical and electrical installation departments
  • Creation of the technical documentation of the developed software
  • Commissioning of the software
  • Management of external employees
  • Customer training on how to use the software
  • Advice and agreements with customers
Your Qualification
  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for application development or electronics technician for automation technology with further training in PLC programming; or completed studies in the field of electrical engineering / automation technology; or comparable qualification
  • Good knowledge of PLC programming with LAD, FBD, SCL, Graf
  • Good knowledge of TIA Portal, Wincc Flexible, MS Office
  • Knowledge of how to read a circuit diagram
  • Knowledge of current regulations, rules, standards
  • German or English language skills, at least level B2, additional languages are an advantage
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented thinking and acting
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills in intercultural teams
  • Willingness to travel for assignment at home and abroad (approx. 30 %)
