Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other de- ductions
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
  • Coordinate with the HR team to link performance management with compensation
  • Implement and oversee assessment programs to help management identify top talent and succession planning
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding payroll and assessment queries
  • Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll and assessments


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, tax procedures, and payroll regulations
  • Strong knowledge of performance assessment processes
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with all levels of staff
