Job Responsibilities

  1. Plant Operations & Strategic Management
    • Develop and execute the company's business strategy and annual operating plans in alignment with the Group's objectives.
    • Take full responsibility for daily plant operations, ensuring targets related to production, safety, quality, cost, and delivery are achieved.
    • Continuously optimize production processes, equipment management, and operational systems to improve efficiency and profitability.
    • Regularly report business performance to Group Headquarters and ensure the successful implementation of corporate strategies in the European market.
  2. Customer Relationship Management & Business Development
    • Serve as the primary contact for key strategic customers and maintain long-term customer relationships.
    • Understand customer requirements and industry trends to enhance customer satisfaction and market competitiveness.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to drive business growth and support market expansion across Europe.
  3. Supply Chain & Project Management
    • Lead end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement, warehousing, logistics, and inventory control.
    • Coordinate internal resources to ensure the successful execution of key projects.
    • Improve supply chain responsiveness and operational efficiency.
  4. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
    • Establish and optimize organizational structures, job responsibilities, performance management systems, and operating procedures.
    • Lead the recruitment, development, and management of local teams in Germany.
    • Promote effective collaboration between the European organization and the China headquarters, fostering a positive cross-cultural working environment.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure all operations comply with German and EU laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Manage employee relations and works council matters effectively while minimizing labor-related risks.
    • Promote workplace safety, environmental protection, and sustainability initiatives.
  6. Financial & Cost Management
    • Develop annual budgets and ensure business objectives are achieved.
    • Drive continuous cost reduction and operational improvement initiatives.
    • Analyze business performance, identify operational risks, and submit regular management reports to headquarters.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines are preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position such as General Manager, Operations Director, Plant Manager, or equivalent.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, capital equipment, industrial packaging, logistics equipment, automotive components, machinery, or related industries is preferred.
  • Proven working or management experience in both China and Europe, with a strong understanding of Chinese and European business cultures.
  • Strong cross-cultural leadership skills and the ability to lead both local European employees and expatriate Chinese teams.
  • Solid knowledge of plant operations, supply chain management, and quality management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and business development capabilities.
  • Fluent in German, English, and Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken, with the ability to use all three languages as working languages.
  • Strong alignment with the international development strategy of Chinese enterprises and willingness to work long-term in Germany.
