Job Title:Warehouse Administrator

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Execute receiving, shipping, storage, and picking operations according to warehouse SOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Complete daily picking, preparation, and loading tasks according to the Pick List; use PDA devices for scanning and organizing inventory.
  • Maintain stored goods, ensuring clear labeling, proper placement, and tidy warehouse conditions.
  • Identify and report defective items (Mangelware) and slow-moving inventory (Langzeitlager).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy; manage assigned areas according to 5S principles.

 2. Systems & Equipment

  • Proficient in using handheld PDA terminals and WMS (Warehouse Management System) for scanning, shipping, and inventory checks.
  • Able to perform basic operations and data entry in internal systems such as OA, DingTalk, or local platforms. 
 3. Communication & Collaboration
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the Hamburg local team, China headquarters, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Assist in handling basic German-language warehouse documents (delivery notes, shipping labels, forms).

Qualifications

  •  Education: Vocational certificate recognized in Germany (e.g., Fachlagerist Ausbildung) or equivalent; field of study not limited.
  • Legal Work Status: Possess valid work visa or residence permit allowing employment in Germany.
  • Language Skills: German B2 or above; fluent in English with full proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of practical warehouse, logistics center, or retail experience in Germany, preferably Hamburg or surrounding areas; experience in Chinese-owned or China-Europe logistics enterprises is a plus. Certifications: Valid forklift license (Flurförderzeugschein) — mandatory.
  • Systems & Tools: Experience with WMS, ERP, or similar warehouse systems; ability to quickly adapt to new systems; familiarity with PDA scanning devices preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, responsible, numerically sensitive; able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment; strong teamwork skills.
