The mechatronics specialist develops and manufactures systems for vehicle doors, liftgates and seats. Brose also produces electric motors from 200 watts to 14 kilowatts for various applications such as steering, thermal management or drives for e-scooters. Brose started its activities in the Chinese market in 1995 and has been growing ever since. Today, the mechatronic specialist is represented with 11 locations in China’s major automotive regions. With localized product portfolio and development expertise, Brose is cooperating with major international and local Chinese auto manufacturers. The company employs around 3,400 people in China and generates a turnover of approximately 1 billion euros (7.9 billion rmb) in 2025. Your Task
  1. Participate in the mechanical design and development of automotive components, including structural design, 3D modeling, 2D engineering drawings, and preparation of related technical documentation.
  2. Assist in design calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design reviews, while considering product performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability.
  3. Support prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and validation activities; analyze issues and drive design improvements and optimization.
  4. Support engineering problem analysis and resolution throughout the product development, prototyping, and mass production phases.
  5. Collaborate closely with project management, testing, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, and international teams to ensure development tasks are completed according to project timelines and objectives.
Your Profile
  1. Possesses fundamental knowledge of mechanical design, engineering drawing, materials, and manufacturing processes, as well as basic structural analysis capabilities.
  2. Has a solid foundation in 3D modeling and 2D drafting, with exposure to software such as CATIA, Creo, NX, or SolidWorks.
  3. Demonstrates strong innovation awareness, learning agility, logical thinking and analytical skills, quality consciousness, and engineering problem-solving abilities.
  4. Effective in teamwork and communication, able to read and understand English technical documentation, and possesses basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
