System Solution Engineer/Manager (m/w/d)

Location: Munich

Role Summary:
You will serve as the key technical bridge between European OEM/Tier-1 customers and our China R&D teams. Your responsibilities include requirement clarification, pre-sales documentation delivery, internal coordination and effective customer communication to ensure successful product introduction.

Key responsibilities: 

• Customer Interface & Requirements

1. Act as the primary technical contact, gathering and clarifying customer needs.
2. Provide timely technical responses and ensure accurate information flow to internal teams.

• Pre-sales Delivery & Coordination 

1. Manage pre-sales deliverables (tech proposals, reviews, QTR, quotations). 
2. Coordinate with R&D teams, identify risks early and escalate when necessary.

• Communication Leadership and Strategy Execution

1. Lead technical discussions with customers and maintain structured, effective communication.
2. Control information disclosure appropriately to protect technical and commercial interests.

Requirements:

• Background in Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or related fields; over 2 years of experience in OEM or Tier-1 automotive electronics system engineering/pre-sales roles.
• Familiar with automotive electronic control systems and automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949, ASPICE, VDA 6.3, and Functional Safety.
• Languages: Chinese + English (C1/C2), capable of handling cross-cultural communication with ease.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical value into business logic that customers can easily understand.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, able to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels—from engineering teams to senior management—with tailored focus.
• Solid project coordination skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
