Job responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate international sea freight shipments from order to delivery 
  • Prepare and review shipping documents such as B/L, packing list, and commercial invoice
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers
  • Track shipment status and resolve transportation issues in a timely manner 
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures
  • Optimize shipping schedules and transportation costs
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, procurement, and warehouse
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and update ERP or logistics systems 

Expected qualifications & degrees 
  • Major: [Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields]
  • Degree: [Occupational school, Bsc. Or above]
  • Certificates: [Ausbildung as Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung or customs related training is a plus]
  • Skills: [MS Office, ERP systems, logistics or shipping management software etc.]
  • Language: [English and German required; Chinese is a plus ]

Professional experience
  • Min [2 ] years of experience in [shipping, logistics, or international trade]. 
  • Have a good understanding of [sea freight processes, Incoterms, and customs procedures] 
  • Experience in coordinating with international freight forwarders and carriers
  • Experience in handling shipping documentation and resolving transportation issues

  • Skills to communicate ideas clearly and concisely 
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
