Project Manager with Design Experience (Full-Time, Cologne, Automotive Industry)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with language proficiency in German, English, and Chinese (native level).

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate international projects from initial planning to successful completion
• Manage interdisciplinary teams and ensure efficient communication and decision-making processes
• Translate and convey complex information between German-, English-, and Chinese-speaking stakeholders
• Develop project plans, roadmaps, status reports, and decision-making materials for management
• Oversee budget planning, resource management, and risk analysis
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and client sessions in all three languages
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, and regulatory requirements
• Identify optimization opportunities and continuously improve project workflows

Your Profile

• More than 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in the automotive or technology sector
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• University degree in project management, business, communications, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience managing complex, international projects
• Native-level Chinese proficiency, with excellent German and English skills (spoken and written)
• Strong ability to bridge cultural and linguistic differences constructively
• Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, even in challenging situations
• Confident use of modern project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Asana)
• Experience in stakeholder management and collaboration with international partners
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Design skills are an advantage
