Job Description for the position as a Product Engineer (m/f/d)

1. Age Range:
22 to 40 years

2. Gender:
No restrictions

3. Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher

4. Professional Experience:
At least three years of work experience in a relevant industry. Experience with mass production products is an advantage.
Solid understanding of requirement analysis, product design, and project management and execution.

5. Professional Knowledge:

  • Familiar with industry-specific laws, regulations, standards, policies, and system integration methods

  • Knowledge of development processes such as APQP, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3

  • Good understanding of battery pack structure, electrical systems, thermal management, battery cells, and Battery Management Systems (BMS)

  • Experience with commonly used pack materials, their performance indicators, and related production processes

  • Familiar with industry standards and testing requirements for battery systems

  • Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and critical control points in battery production

  • Basic understanding of the cost structure of battery systems and their components

  • High sensitivity to trends and a forward-looking perspective in the battery industry

6. Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in English reading and writing (minimum level CET-4 or equivalent)

  • Experience with at least one 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Creo, NX/UG)

  • Proficient in AutoCAD

  • Experience using BMS diagnostic tools and analyzing CAN communication protocols (e.g., CANoe, CANtext, CANPRO)

  • Proficient in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)

7. Additional Requirements:

  • Strong cost awareness and a mindset for forward-thinking design

  • Proactive, clear thinker with strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility

  • Strong ability to plan and organize work independently

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Good English skills in both written and spoken form are preferred
