Your Responsibilities
• You will lead the functional safety process for powertrain controller software development, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and relevant Group policies and standards.
• You will evaluate functional safety requirements, perform risk assessments (HARA, FMEA) and define safety goals for powertrain controller software.
• You will conduct safety analyses (e.g. FTA, FMEA) and interpret results to ensure proper implementation of safety mechanisms.
• You will align functional safety solutions with internal partners and suppliers to meet project targets.
• You will report the functional safety activities to internal stakeholders and leadership.
• You will collaborate in international project teams to ensure functional safety integration in powertrain software development.

Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Automotive or Electrical Engineering, or related)
• Work Experience: Functional safety expertise (ISO 26262) in automotive software.
• Strong process know-how in automotive functional safety and evaluation methodologies (e.g. HARA, FTA, FMEA).
• High degree of problem-solving ability and self-independence in safety development.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. JIRA) and proficiency in office software.
• Process-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international teams required.
• Above average communication skills for cross-functional collaboration required.
• Experience with powertrain control systems and software development is highly beneficial.
• Language:
o English-speaking is required
