Materials Engineer (PhD)
Position SummaryWe are seeking highly motivated Materials Engineers with a doctoral degree to lead advanced research and development initiatives. The ideal candidates will drive innovation in material properties, process optimization, and theoretical simulations to maintain our competitive edge in the industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Tech Scouting: Monitor global market trends and research the development of cutting-edge technologies within the materials industry.
Advanced R&D: Conduct preliminary research on new technologies and lead fundamental theoretical studies to support long-term product roadmaps.
Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of new products, including prototyping, trial production, and comprehensive R&D project management.
Operational Support: Collaborate on process engineering, quality control, and the establishment of technical standards to ensure manufacturing excellence.
Education: Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field.
Preferred Majors: Powder Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Metallic Materials, Materials Processing, Condensed Matter Physics, Applied Chemistry, or Inorganic Non-Metallic Materials.
Core Expertise: We are particularly interested in candidates with research experience in the following areas:
Powder metallurgy and cemented carbides.
Materials calculation and simulation based on First Principles.
Forming technologies for powders and ceramic materials.
Modification of material properties via rare earth doping or rare earth oxides.
Toughening and strengthening mechanisms for powder materials, ceramics (brittle materials), and metallic materials.
