To strengthen our team at the Nersingen location, we are looking for a: Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Maschinenbaukonstrukteur / Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop 5-axis CNC machines, custom solutions, assemblies, and individual components
• Create and manage bill of materials (BOMs) for projects
• Handle customer orders from concept to series production, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Contribute to innovation projects and continuous improvement of the product portfolio
• Provide technical support to sales during proposal and project planning phases
• Act as a liaison between design, manufacturing, and assembly for smooth project execution
• Offer technical assistance to production and assembly teams regarding mechanical issues
• Participate in R&D projects to develop new machine concepts

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing., B.Eng., M.Eng.)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, preferably CREO/ProE
• Strong command of MS Office tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written), negotiation level
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business
