Logistics Production & Material Control Supervisor

Logistics Production & Material Control Supervisor

Job responsibilities
1. Planning Management

• Responsible for interfacing and aligning customer delivery plans with internal production and shipping schedules
• Responsible for reviewing and releasing production plans (repacking and testing)
• Responsible for reviewing empty container demand plans
• Responsible for reviewing material requirements plans (batteries, empty containers, auxiliary materials)
• Responsible for setting and dynamically adjusting safety stock levels

2.Material Control Management

• Responsible for overall inventory control of batteries, empty containers, and auxiliary materials
• Responsible for coordinating and resolving material abnormality issues
• Responsible for monitoring slow-moving materials and driving disposition actions

3.Inventory Accounting Management

• Responsible for supervising and managing WMS, ledgers, and other receiving/shipping/stock data
• Responsible for overseeing inventory counts (daily/weekly/monthly/mid-year/yearend)
• Responsible for monitoring inventory data and leading early warning on anomalies
• Ensure inventory accuracy rate meets targets

4. New Project Introduction

• Responsible for pre-production operational construction, onboarding, and audit of new projects
• Coordinate cross-functional resources for new project implementation

5.Team Management

• Responsible for daily work arrangement and supervision of planning, material control, and inventory accounting teams
• Responsible for team capability building and performance evaluation

Expected Qualifications & Degrees

• Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain/production planning/material control, with minimum 1 years of team management experience
• Experience in automotive or battery industry is preferred
• Experience in warehouse logistics or VMI operations is preferred

Professional Skills

• Familiar with SAP/WMS system logic
• Proficient in Excel data processing and analysis
• Strong understanding of production planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory management principles
• Proficient in MS Office

Language & Soft Skills

• Language: Fluent in German and English (written and verbal); Chinese is a plus
• Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills, able to efficiently align with customers, operations, transportation, customs, and procurement teams
• Systematic thinking and strong problem-solving skills, able to make decisions independently under pressure
• Adaptable to international work environments, with willingness to travel as required
