Last Mile Transportation Operation

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor last-mile transportation operations across Germany and Europe
• Coordinate with parcel carriers and transportation providers
• Track delivery performance, transit times and transportation costs
• Analyze transportation KPIs and implement corrective actions
• Handle escalations, lost parcel and damage claims
• Optimize carrier strategies and transportation networks
• Support carrier tenders and contract negotiations
• Prepare operational and performance reports

Requirements

• Degree or vocational qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Transportation Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in parcel logistics or last-mile operations
• Experience working with DHL, DPD, GLS, Hermes, UPS or similar carriers
• Strong understanding of transportation KPIs and carrier management
• Fluent German and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
