Industrial Designer – Fokus Design-to-Manufacturer (DTM) (m/f/d)

Our products are conceived and prototyped in Germany, with a clear focus on efficient, series-ready implementation. Production takes place with long-standing production partners in China, with whom we work closely and in a spirit of partnership.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed Industrial Designer (m/f/d) who will accompany our designs from the first idea to final series production.

Industrial Designer – Fokus Design-to-Manufacturer (DTM) (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with our designers in Germany to technically implement new product ideas

• Develop and optimize robust, assembly-friendly, and cost-efficient product solutions

• Evaluate materials, constructions, and connection methods with a focus on stability, functionality, and efficient mass production

• Prepare technical specifications, CAD drawings, and sketches to ensure precise communication with production partners

• Act as the link between our Berlin team and Chinese manufacturers – bringing both worlds together

• Proactively identify technical risks and provide constructive solutions

Your Profile

• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) as well as excellent German and English skills

• Initial professional experience in German companies, ideally in the furniture/interior industry

• Solid understanding of materials (wood, metal, composites) and their processing

• Strong intercultural competence in working with Chinese partners

• Confident use of CAD or visualization tools

• Structured, self-driven working style with a strong sense of ownership

• Enjoy working in an international environment and bridging cultural contexts
