Financial Accountant

Your Responsibilities:

• Examine and book accounts payable invoices;
• Process weekly payment runs and monitor OPOS lists;
• Be responsible for the booking and tracking of accounts receivable and handling related invoice matters;
• Reconcile and analyze accounts payable and receivable related accounts;
• Maintain and manage accounts payable and receivable master data;
• Monitor and manage direct debits, standing orders and payment related matters;
• Assist in completing monthly/quarterly/annual settlement work in accordance with German Commercial Law (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• Undertake some administrative related tasks;
•  Assist in the procurement process;
• Be responsible for handling travel expense reimbursements;
• Participate in and assist with other related tasks in cross-thematic projects.

Ideally, you have:

• Successfully completed commercial related vocational training or equivalent qualification;
• 1-3 years of work experience in the financial field, especially in accounts payable and receivable booking; fresh graduates with equivalent qualifications are also welcome;
• Proficient in common MS Office software, especially Excel;
• Experience in Oracle Financial operation is preferred (or DATEV/SAP);
• Excellent numerical sensitivity, independent and efficient work;
• Fluent in German and English.
