EHS Manager

Location

Gelsenkirchen, Germany

60,000 – 80,000 €

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management at the warehouse site
• Ensure compliance with German and EU occupational safety, environmental and health regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures
• Deliver safety training and awareness programs
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and develop corrective actions
• Liaise with authorities, insurance organizations and external service providers
• Develop emergency response and evacuation procedures
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or related field
• Qualification as Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) preferred
• Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in logistics, warehousing or manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of German labor and safety regulations
• Fluent German and English communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
