Design UI Visual Designer
Brief position of the position:
This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for next-gen automotive software. It enhances user experiences by ensuring seamless integration of design and technology. The Visual/UI Designer develops pixel-perfect designs, maintains visual consistency, and stays updated with the latest design trends and automotive UI standards.
Key tasks:
1. UI Design Development: Create pixel-perfect, visually appealing interfaces for in-car software, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience aligned with brand guidelines and design systems. This involves detailed attention to layout, color schemes, typography, and iconography.
2. Prototyping & Wireframing: Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes using design tools like Figma. Facilitate user testing and iterative design processes to refine and validate design concepts based on user feedback and usability studies.
3. Collaboration with UX Team: Work closely with UX designers to translate user research and wireframes into visually engaging UI elements. Improve usability and aesthetics by integrating user insights and ensuring that designs meet user needs and expectations.
4. Design System Management: Maintain and evolve design systems, including UI components, style guides, and libraries. Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints by standardizing design elements and updating guidelines as needed.
5. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and developers to align design deliverables with project goals, timelines, and technical requirements. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to a cohesive team dynamic.
6. Usability Testing Support: Assist in planning and conducting usability tests. Analyze feedback and refine UI designs based on user insights and data-driven decisions. Ensure that designs are user-centered and meet usability standards.
7. Visual Consistency: Ensure that all designs maintain a high standard of visual consistency. This includes adhering to established design principles for typography, color schemes, iconography, and layout grids to create a cohesive visual experience.
8. Innovation & Trends: Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and automotive UI standards. Integrate new ideas and approaches into design projects to keep the user interfaces fresh, innovative, and competitive.
9. Motion Design: Develop and integrate motion design elements to enhance user interactions and visual storytelling. Create animations and transitions that improve the overall user experience, ensuring they are smooth, engaging, and aligned with the brand’s visual identity. Collaborate with developers to implement these motion designs effectively.
10. Feedback Integration: Actively participate in design reviews, embracing feedback from peers and stakeholders. Iterate designs to achieve optimal results, ensuring that the final product meets both user needs and business objectives.
Qualifications &skills:
1. Master or Bachelor in UI Design or other relevant Design fields.
2. Preferred internship in automotive industry for UX / UI Design or UI design relevant business.
3. High standards for work quality and results. Ability to work independently and self-organized.
4. Creative and strong design skills, with focus in UX/UI design, including tooling, UX patterns, styles, typography, colors, and branding. Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
5. Excellent communication skills for conveying conceptual ideas.
6. Fluent in English.
