Automation Laboratory Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
1) Daily manage and maintain Automation Laboratory in good condition, regularly calibrate instruments.2) According to the yearly testing capacity plan, draft testing instruments request and their budget.3) Co-operate closely with HQ test team, countries LSA team across APAC, suppliers’ test team, customers’ test team, drive and track test in good progress.4) According to the testing plan and testing cases, match the most suitable 3rd laboratory, drive and track test and certification requests in good progress.5) Tear down competitors’ product and generate teardown analysis report for R&D team reference.6) Be responsible for APAC Automation product certification by closely working with countries LSA team to get local countries certifications.7) Lead Automation product component/system level testing strategy and plan based on product specifications and project plans, develop and improve testing plans, plan test cases, organize product testing plans and case reviews, design and build testing environments, track testing progress and quality, summarize test results and output reports.8) Evaluate whether the testing requirements meet the standards (CISPR 32、EN IEC 61000-6、EN IEC 61000-6-2...)9) Execute specific testing tasks and communicate testing progress and results with superiors and collaborating departments, including but not limited, function test, ripple test, electrical performance test, communication performance test, signal quality testing, temperature rise testing, logic testing, power consumption testing, environmental testing, EMI/EMS test, etc.
10) Be responsible for tracking testing issues, completing test reports and analyzing test results, and promoting a closed loop for problem resolution.11) Reproduce the failure results from our laboratory and other laboratories, analyze and find the root cause for the testing failure, and track them until they’re closed.12) Participate in product design phase reviews, identify design risks, and develop risk verification plans.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: 
a) 10+ years of working experience in E&E area with Electrical&Electronic Engineering background.b) 5+ years of working experience in E&E product testing & certification.c) Strong experimental design ability, data analysis ability, basic project management ability, able to arrange testing plans and testing priorities reasonably, able to independently solve product testing system related problems, and improve testing efficiency.d) Able to read PCBA schematic diagram (must have), proficient in using mainstream PLCs, oscilloscopes, LCR, multimeter, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, and other common testing instruments.e) Familiar with electronic product testing (e.g. Environment test, EMI/EMS, SW integration test) and their IEC standards and various communication protocol, e.g., SPI、IIC、UART、CAN、USB.f) Extensive experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, understanding the specific requirements and environmental conditions for industrial products.g) Familiar with product certification processes and agencies such as UL, CSA, CE, CCC, etc.h) Ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the organization, clear logical mind, accountable, and result oriented, self-motivated and able to handle pressure
