Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of warehouse automation systems (conveyors, sorters, ASRS, etc.)
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce equipment downtime
• Analyze performance data and propose optimization or system upgrade solutions
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components
• Collaborate closely with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues
• Develop maintenance manuals and operational guidelines
• Train warehouse staff on equipment operation and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automated logistics or industrial equipment management
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical control systems, and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7)
• Familiar with lubrication techniques and standard maintenance tools
• Strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Fluency in Chinese is required, along with proficiency in either English or German for effective communication in an international environment.
