Assistant Mechanical Structural Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the mechanical design and development of project products, including robot product research, requirements analysis, overall mechanical scheme design, 3D/2D design, preparation and verification of BOM and process documentation, prototype development, assembly testing, small-batch trial production, new product development, and application/implementation of new technologies.
Design of overall product structure, transmission systems, and mechanical components; selection of parts and materials.
Participate in project discussions, review relevant engineering drawings, and address anomalies and challenges during the project process.
Resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, installation, debugging, and after-sales service; prepare related technical documents.
Draft patent applications, provide technical guidance and training, and compile/refine corporate mechanical design standards.
Other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design or related field; internship experience in mechanical design is preferred.
Capable of conducting overall and component-level mechanical design for new products, with extensive experience in structural design, kinematic mechanisms, and transmission systems.
Proficient in mechanical calculations, strength analysis, and motion simulation; able to perform calculations and selection of components such as servo motors, bearings, pneumatic parts, gears, synchronous belts, and chain drives based on product development needs.
Familiar with relevant manufacturing and surface treatment processes (especially C4 and above anti-corrosion processes); knowledge of common material properties; capable of designing tooling based on product development needs (welding, heat treatment, surface treatment, and assembly).
Experienced in sheet metal, machining, injection molding, aluminum casting, and other processes.
Knowledgeable in mechanical seal design.
Strong hands-on skills with the ability to assemble and debug prototypes.
Diligent, responsible, and accountable with good teamwork and collaboration spirit.
Interest in robotics; experience in robot-related product R&D and mass production is preferred.
