Safety Engineer

The position offers an exciting working environment directly in the development of our customers in the automotive industry. It is my responsibility to ensure that a newly developed multi-interior camera is prototyped and that it is free of errors. To do this, you coordinate closely with the customer's departments involved and the series supplier, show team spirit, have perseverance and an eye on the goal to be achieved. You accompany the development process of future vehicle generations in a decisive phase and you want to be part of this development. In addition, we offer you a training in Germany by our multi indoor camera team for 2-3 month.

Your tasks:

• Sample management of prototype samples in the multi-interior camera development project.
• Installation and commissioning of the prototype samples.
• Flashing, coding, adapting parameter sets, SW update.
• Initiating, monitoring and controlling the problem resolution management process.
• Execution of test / analysis orders according to given test specifications in the vehicle for the analysis of specific defect cases.
• Close cooperation with the automobile manufacturer and the series supplier for problem analysis and definition of measures.
• Regularly organizing and conducting problem meetings with testers, developers, clients and suppliers.
• Management and maintenance of the defect ticket system, reporting.

Your skills:

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar.
• Knowledge with dealing with ODIS and Vectortools e.g. CANoe and ideally qualified as a Certified Tester according to ISTQB.
• Fluent English Language skills in both oral and writing, German is a plus.
• Soft Skills & Attitude：good analytical skills, creativity and curiosity in dealing with technical systems, independent, structured and persistent way of working as well as a confident demeanor, very good communication skills and team spirit.
