Position Summary:

The position will be responsible for the design and development of motor controller for Corporate Engineering Business Group.  The role will focus on taking design through the full design cycle for control software development.



  • Responsible for mathematical algorithm development of PMSM/BLDC control strategy using advanced control methodologies

  • In-charge of model development of PMSM/BLDC electric drive system

  • Provide technical solutions for algorithm verifying, system performance and robustness improving

  • Develop and deploy PMSM/BLDC hardware-in-the-loop platform

  • Lead ASPICE process development for overseas projects

  • Support software coding and debug, and system integration and testing


  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines

  • Knowledge with various sensorless control strategies for PMSM/ BLDC, familiar with motor control theory such as MTPA, flux weakening etc.

  • Proficiency in simulation such as MATLAB/SIMULINK, experienced in model-based development and code generation preferable

  • Hands-on experience of dSPACE hardware-in-loop development and applications

  • Hands-on experience with ASPICE software standards and quality control of automotive electronics product design

  • Good command of English
