The subsidiaries of MR in China

MR China was incorporated in Shanghai in 2006 as a wholly owned subsidiary of MR in China, charged with sales, customer support and technical maintenance of all MR products in the Chinese market. In addition to core MR products - tap changers for power transformers, transformer accessories and electronic products - we also sell Messko® products.

With around 140 employees in our Shanghai office, we offer our customers a quick response and professional product assistance, including application-specific solutions, technical support and on-site maintenance. To improve communication with customers, our company is structured around the sales department, which blends together sales, customer support and technical maintenance to create a brand new one-stop seamless experience for customers. Should an emergency situation arise, our experts will be there as soon as possible to fix the problem on-site.

Description

  • Advising OEM customers in regard to all technical inquiries relating to the MR product range.
  • Analyzing and coordinating technical requirements for scheduled customer projects.
  • Cooperation with ASM in regard to the commercial clarification of offers and orders.
  • Compiling, analyzing and sending offers and order confirmations for products, components, parts and services for designated OEM customers. 
  • Provide designated OEM customers / operators with technical support and after-sales servicing. Processing of complaints and disruptions including problem assessment, implementation of appropriate actions, follow-up and correspondence, where necessary with technical support through specialist departments.
  • Assist with and implementing complex technological projects depending on skills and qualifications.
  • Make presentations regarding maintenance strategies / technical issues to customers and at conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related.
  • Experience in power technology and owning basic knowledge of the machine construction industry and transformer.
  • Good command of English (written & spoken); 
  • Computer skills, e.g. SAP, Excel, PPT.
  • High Team work inspirits, positively and actively;
  • Self motivated & ability to work independently.
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and organize customer inquiries;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Good communication skill;
  • Business-oriented focus.
