Your Responsibility

  • Responsible for mechanical and structural simulation and validation of the new products design throughout complete PEP (Product Emergency Process) period – from concept till SOP.
  • Responsible for CFD thermal and fluid simulation.
  • Responsible for the definition and alignment of specifications for simulation models.
  • Responsible for delivery of simulation report and assessment towards design team in requested timing and quality.
  • Responsible for giving the release recommendation from employee level.
  • Evaluation of simulation suppliers and steering the suppliers in its simulation service providing.
  • Responsible for evaluation, analysis and solution recommendation of mechanical / structural related issues from design, production, testing, etc.
  • Responsible for the definition of necessary simulation tools and processes for new products development in alignment with relevant stakeholders.
  • Being as the interface between German simulation teams to system component suppliers in China and internal development engineers.
  • Responsible for interface internally within battery development and externally: VW Group brands’ R&D, Joint Ventures, and their respective planning, purchasing, quality, production departments.
  • Support the localization of components.
  • Support the achievement of field complaints targets for battery projects.
  • Support the goal of the ISO 9001 certification.
  • Support the definition and the sourcing of work equipment.
  • Support the „continuous improvement process“ in the company.

 

Our Requirements

  • Master degree or equivalent in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics
  • 1-3 years(preferable) of mechanical design in HV components fields, ideally experience with HV battery product simulation.
  • English (fluent), German or Chinese (native)
  • CAD-software (eg. ANSYS, Meta or other equivalent tools), MS Office
  • Knowledge of automotive transmission technologies & cars in general
  • Knowledge of transmission and cars
  • Deep knowledge of battery-related technical engineering
  • Knowledge of established manufacturing/assembly methods in the automotive industry
  • Profound competence in problem solving in mechanical design and failure analysis
  • Integrity and value-driven working style, compliant to rules and regulation.
  • Remain accountable when mistake happens and able to speak up if something goes wrong.
