Summary

Tesla is looking for amazing Intern who is passionate about automation, robotics and computer engineering and desire to work with automation controls development team (CAE – Core Automation Engineering).The candidate will have opportunity take part in innovative projects which will be directly connected with advanced manufacturing at Tesla factories. CAE team

creates elegant automation solutions to build and assemble Tesla products in all manufacturing areas of the factory (Body in White, Paint, Casting, General Assembly, Drive unit, Battery workshops). The candidate will apply academical knowledge about robotics, automation and computer science in industrial area and be involved into digitalization and development of Tesla’s production lines. CAE team is dedicated to providing an experience that allows the intern experience life at Tesla by joining projects that are critical to their future successes。

 

Responsibilities

·Assist CAE team with accomplishing tasks related to the development of innovative solutions

·Write and test software applications which are aligned with the main development stream

·Participate in architecture and code reviews with experienced engineer

·Document applications development processes

 

Requirements

·MSc/MS student of Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics,Computer Science or equivalent degree

·Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program in computer science or a related fields

·Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program in robotics or a related fields

·Entry level experience with database application (MySQL preferred) 

·Entry level experience with Python and C++

·Entry level experience with Vision Systems

·Robot programming experience with usage of ROS/ROS2

·Workable oral & written English

·Self-starter and good team player who is eager to learn and know more

·Hands-on experience building,fixing and troubleshooting things using common hand tools and diagnostic

tools
