Objective of job

Primary IT contact of HR IT area for the HR and finance business IT consulting, requirements management, IT service provision and IT operation, so that business-oriented IT solutions can be provided in cooperation with the architects and specialists.

Job designation

Business Service Management for HR Local System:
  1. First contact for IT project stakeholders regarding IT services and solutions.
  2. Plans, coordinates, implements and documents the IT project incl. transforming business objectives into IT deliverables.
  3. Consults the business partner regarding tailored IT services and solutions and proposes other possible uses or innovative Solutions.
  4. Identification of project requirements in consultation with the project stakeholders from the concerned business area as well as the IT Department.
  5. Link to the architects and specialists for the quality elaboration and further development of IT services and Solutions.
  6. Application of the Daimler project management methodology and continuous quality management for implementing new IT infrastructure Solutions.
  7. Understands and communicates implementation problems or difficulties related to cross-departmental IT alignment.
  8. Secures the operation including escalation management and ensures an end to end quality performance according to SLA.
  9. Ensures that all service and response targets are understood and achieved with an efficient use of resources.
  10. Ensure the security requirements (EPA, Vulnerability, etc.) are fulfilled before the due date.
  11. Align with IT infrastructure team to monitor the system performance and HW resource management.
  12. Software vendor management to ensure a stable IT service delivery.

IT Landscape Management and System Integration:
  1. Manage the IT landscape for HR IT applications.
  2. Analyze and simplify the current HR local IT system landscape.
  3. Support the HR HCM Suite integration.
  4. Local HR IT micro service setup and operation.


  • University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent higher education.
  1. More than 3 years IT system operation experience.
  2. Familiar with ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  3. Cloud operation experience is a preference.
  4. Good communication skill (in Chinese and in English) .
Specific Knowledge:
  1. Knowledge on Project Management/Demand Management/Software Development Approaches.
  2. Knowledge about Docker/Container, Jenkins, Nexus, CI/CD pipelines, Redis.
  3. Knowledge or experience on the App Development Approaches, for example iOS/Android App development.
  4. Knowledge about the WeChat@Work Environment, knowledge about the mini-program development on WeChat@Work is a preference.
  5. Knowledge about Java, .net, C#, python, SharePoint.
  6. Strong structured approach / problem analysis capability.
  7. Good Chinese and English communication skill in oral and written.
