Your tasks

The Basic Engine Control Calibration Engineer will independently organize basic engine control calibration test and validation test, analyze test result, and make relevant report according to customer’s project timeline and requirement. He/she should be familiar with basic engine control system like air path system, ignition control system, fuel mixture system, knock and pre-ignition control system, ATM system, etc. Following listed tasks in matrix must be done by contractor:

  •  Responsible for basic engine control calibration

-            Prepare and conduct test on engine bench, dyno test bench, road, winter/summer/altitude area and so on based on the test request

-            Make analysis for the measurements and calibration optimization to meet customer requirement

-            Deliver the related calibration dataset, report the calibration and validation status in time based on the customer project timeline

-            Trouble shooting for the issues relevant to basic engine control calibration in time and document it according to customer requirement

Your skills

  •    Bachelor or Master Degree in Major Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent 
  •    Good technical knowledge of engines & vehicles
  •    With a minimum of 3 years working experiences with required knowledge
  •    Knowledge of calibration tools, like INCA tools, CAN data logger, general scan tool, etc.
  •    Work experience with basic engine control calibration
  •    Driving license necessary
  •    Language skills in English, German better
  •    Sufficiently communicative skills
  •    Good team player
